There is a great deal happening during our ordinary interactions, and even more during times of quiet reflection. These moments create the space in which we define our being as we search for meaning in our lives. As an artist, I strive to engage with the people in my visual world in a straightforward manner, wanting them to tell their own stories. There is a sense of ambiguity in my work, but life is often ambiguous, and our stories rarely have clear endings.
